Services

What we take off your desk.

A trade needs a dozen things to go right in sequence. You can manage each one yourself, hand the whole sequence to us, or hand us only the part you need.

Two ways to work with us

Buy through us, or hire us for one part.

Buying through us is how we mainly work. If you need only part of it, you can hire us for that part alone.

How we mainly work

Buy through us

You buy the goods from us. We find the supplier, place the order, follow production, check the goods and ship them with their documents.

  • One contract and one invoice, with GF
  • One party accountable for what arrives
  • The steps your trade needs, agreed at the brief

When you need part of it

Hire us for one part

A consultation before you order, a supplier search, or an inspection of goods you are buying yourself.

  • Any part of the process, one step or several
  • What we do, what it costs and who contracts with the supplier, agreed before we start

The three services

Each one in detail.

  1. I

    Consultation

Before anything is ordered: whether the product can be sourced, at what price range and lead time, which terms and payment structure fit, and what the destination market will ask of the goods.

On its own, or as the first part of a trade.

    Sourcing feasibility
Whether the product can be made in East Asia, Southeast Asia or Europe at your volume, at roughly what price and with what lead time.
    Incoterms and payment terms
Which terms fit, where the goods and the risk pass to you, and how payment can be structured: T/T as standard, L/C and other terms where they fit, linked to milestones where it helps.
    Import documents, duty, market rules
What your market will ask of the goods on arrival: the documents, the duty, the labelling and the standards they must meet.

    You get

A straight answer: whether to go ahead, at roughly what price and lead time, and what has to be in place first.

  2. II

    Trade

Finding the supplier against your specification, negotiating price and terms, and holding the purchase order from confirmation to delivery, with the documents your customs will ask for.

Bought through us, as one contract and one invoice. Parts of it, such as the supplier search, can also be hired on their own.

    Supplier shortlist and verification
Suppliers in Asia or Europe, checked that they exist and can make it at your volume, with quotations you can compare on the same basis.
Price, terms and, where wanted, samples
Negotiated against your target price. If you want a physical sample, it is approved in writing before production; if not, the written specification is the reference.
    Purchase order and production follow-up
Terms, payment and delivery date fixed in one purchase order. Progress updates without asking, and changes or delays handled as they come.
Delivery and the full document set
Freight booked through forwarders, or handed over to yours, depending on the terms agreed. The transport document, invoice, packing list and any certificates travel together.

    You get

One contract, one invoice and one reference number, from the order to arrival.

  3. III

    Quality and compliance

Inspection at the point where a fault is still cheap to fix, during production and before the goods leave the factory. We attend in person where we can, and commission an independent inspector where we cannot or where you want third-party sign-off.

Part of a trade bought through us, or hired on its own for goods you are buying yourself.

    In-line and pre-shipment inspection
During production where it matters, and before shipping, against the approved sample or the specification.
    Defect reports with photographs
What was checked, what was found, and what has to happen before the goods can leave.
    Certificates for the destination market
The certificates and test reports your market requires, checked before shipping rather than at the border.

    You get

A report with photographs, while a fault is still cheap to fix.
